Preparation To Start Construction Of Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway

Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) is releasing invitation documents for prequalification some installation bidding packages of Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway project. Under the plan, VEC will open construction bid in August 2013 to be able to start work in late December 2013.

The highway has the scale of 6 lanes, length of about 58km, from the intersection of the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong highway and the Ring Road 3 Ho Chi Minh city, crossing Nhon Trach district, cuts through the National Road 51 and end at the intersection point with Bien Hoa – Vung Tau highway, the total investment is about VND 31 trillion by the investor is VEC.

Once the highway is completed, Phuoc An port project will be connected with the this highway which will ensure smooth transportation and shorten the journey from Phuoc An Port to Ho Chi Minh City, Long An Province, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and the Mekong Delta.

Simultaneously, the frontage position with more than 3 km along the highway with an area of 550 ha, the logistic zone of Phuoc An Port project will have sufficient conditions and a large enough area to develop into a logistic center providing of all in one “Door to Door” logistic services for the whole region.
